		FRIENDS of the DAVID and JOYCE MILNE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Friends of David and Joyce Milne Public Library encourages public support for the library by:

Raising funds through an annual membership campaign, book sales, and other fund raising events
Sponsoring programs of interest to various age groups and members of the community
Involving volunteers in the work and programs of the library
Informing the community of library news and events through the publication and mailing of the BiblioFile
Encouraging gifts to the library

The Friends of the Library is governed by a 10-14 member Board, which meets monthly except in July and August.
Meetings are open to the public and are held in the Library on the second or third Mondays at noon. Election of officers and new board members occurs at the Annual Meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of December.
