Serving Williamstown and beyond, the Milne Library is a member of the CWMARS consortium (1999) and the Western Massachusetts Regional Library System (1962).We offer a wide spectrum of library services including access to a full collection of books, audiotapes, and videos for adults and children, interlibrary loan, reference services, high-speed Internet and Wi-Fi connections,museum passes, traditional library programs and more. Located on Field Park in historic Williamstown, Massachusetts, home of Williams College and the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, the Milne Library offers the best of all that is old and new.

Volunteers The services of the David and Joyce Milne Public Library are complemented
by the contributions of many volunteers who give generously of their time
to help the library. Most volunteers commit to between 2 or 4 hours a week.
Volunteers assist in a variety of support activities including shelving
books, putting the books in order on the shelves, cataloging online, processing
new books, mending the old books, children’s story times, sending out overdue
notices, and various other special projects.
