Chinese Papercutting Workshop for Kids
Learn how to create an animal of your choice with just paper and scissors, in this workshop with Zhonghe (Elena) Li, a multimedia artist. Open to kids ages 6 and older, and a parent or guardian must stay with their child.

About the Event
Zhonghe (Elena) Li will provide two papercutting workshops at the Milne, one for children and another for adults/teens. She is a Cambridge multi-media artist who specializes in traditional Chinese papercutting art and watercolors. The participants will cut out an animal of their choice, using templates of animals, such as butterflies and birds, frogs and fish, chipmunks, rabbits, racoons, ducks, geese, mergansers or blue herons. Ms. Zhonghe uses art to speak for the art of living together - the importance of living in harmony with nature as one.
