Second Chance Composting is a family & locally owned business serving the Berkshires & Southern VT offering drop off, pickup, hauling, and processing of food scraps and organic matter including leaves, woodchips, sawdust, manure, pumpkins, and Christmas trees.
Our processing is done in Cheshire, just off of route 8, and we offer drop off of leaves, woodchips, sawdust, manure, and other organics both from the residential and commercial level. We partner with local firewood & tree companies, landscapers, and farms.
We are involved in and offer community events, outreach, education, & awareness including our Annual Pumpkin Smash Event and are at the Williamstown Farmers Market and the North Adams Farmers Market on an alternating basis each week throughout the season, where anyone can drop off of food scraps as a free service to the community.
