To celebrate the centennial of the nation's most iconic memorial, Dana Pilson of Chesterwood will give an in-person slideshow and talk about the making of the Lincoln Memorial, with a special focus on sculptor Daniel Chester French's most recognizable work, the seated Abraham Lincoln.

About the Event

To celebrate the centennial of the nation's most iconic memorial, Dana Pilson, curatorial researcher at Chesterwood, the historic home, studio, and gardens of sculptor Daniel Chester French, will present an illustrated lecture about the making of the Lincoln Memorial, with a special focus on French's most recognizable work, the seated Abraham Lincoln.
