September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month and to celebrate, we are holding a free raffle.đïžđ„ł When you sign up for a library card, youâll receive one raffle ticket to enter in the drawing. Already have a library card? Youâll be awarded two raffle tickets.
The grand prize for one lucky patron is our complete swag bag, a Chapter Two gift card, and $50 gift card. All you need to do to enter is sign up for a library card during the month of September for one raffle ticket, or show your library card (specifically for the drawing) and receive two raffle tickets.
The winner will be announced Wednesday, October 1st. Good luck!

Nice timing with Library Card Sign-Up Month â I always forget how much you can do with a card beyond just borrowing books. Two tickets for existing cardholders is a sweet touch, too. Totally unrelated, but the âswag bagâ mention made me think about style inspo boards like this site, just in library-merch form.
The âalready have a card = two ticketsâ bit is clever â it rewards regulars without making it feel exclusive. Crossing my fingers for that swag bag (libraries always have the best stickers). Speaking of stickers, I saw ghibli ai recently and now Iâm imagining a cute library-themed art print as part of the prize.
Really like seeing the Chapter Two gift card in the mix â it feels like a nice way to loop local businesses into Library Card Month. Is there a specific desk/spot people should go to for the raffle tickets, or can any staff member help? Side note: the way this announcement bundles info (what to do, what you get, when it ends) is kind of how hrefgo lists things in one place.
The swag bag + gift cards is a pretty solid prize for just signing up or flashing your card. How are you notifying the winner on Oct 1 â email, phone, or posted somewhere in the building? Also, the word âdrawingâ always makes my brain jump to puzzles; I was just messing around with a cipher type identifier the other day.
Love that people who already have cards can still join the fun (and get two tickets). If I bring my kid in after school to show our cards, do we each get tickets or is it per household? This kind of low-stakes âpop in and participateâ vibe is the same reason I end up killing time with a free block puzzle while Iâm waiting for things.
