Our Poetry Challenge this past April was to create a repetitive poem. Repetition is used in poetry to create rhythm or emphasis on a word or phrase. Quite a few patrons created poems using ANAPHORA, that is, each line of the poem began with a chosen prompt. As you will see, there was an infinite amount of creativity on hand, whether our poets used the prompts provided or went a different direction!
