Enter our raffle for National Library Week (April 19th - 25th)! 🎟️🎉

During the week, when you check out five (5) library materials (books, cds, movies, Thingdom items, etc.), you get one raffle entry. There is one entry per day, per card.

Prizes are on display by Circulation in the glass display case. Prizes included: children's books, a snack care package, $25 gift cards, and a full Milne library merch kit. Some prizes have two drawings.

Winners will be notified Monday, April 27th!

Join us tonight, Wednesday, April 15th at 6:00 p.m., for a poetry reading by Vermonters David Crews and Piper Campbell.

In celebration of National Poetry Month and Earth Day, David Crews will be reading from his newest work Hoosic River: A poem.

David Crews lives and works at Clear Brook Farm, an organic fruit and vegetable farm located at the edge of the Hoosic River watershed in the Vermont valley. Piper Campbell lives on a 7th generation family home in Bennington, VT.

Join us tonight, Wednesday, April 15th at 6:00 p.m., for a poetry reading by Vermonters David Crews and Piper Campbell.

We've launched a monthly spice club! This passive program allows patrons to try a new spice every month. Venture to a new country to learn the spice's origins, process, tasting notes, and what it pairs well with.

In addition to learning about the spice, you'll have the opportunity to try it using a recipe and helpful cooking tips. We also want you to share your creation and thoughts about the monthly spice and recipe.

Spices have been generously donated by @burlapandbarrel

Search high and low for colorful eggs filled with sweet treats and surprises. Don’t forget to bring your own basket (or anything you can carry your eggs in).

And the fun doesn’t stop there. We’re excited to share that there will be a special storytime, followed by a hands-on craft for kids and families to enjoy together.

🚓 The Police Department and K9 Unit - stop by and say hello!

The library received a Mass Cultural Council grant to support this event, which is designed to celebrate the rich cultural backgrounds represented in Williamstown and across Berkshire County.

Our goal is to create a welcoming space for connection and learning through food, art, language, music, storytelling, and cultural traditions.

Our goal is to create a welcoming space for connection and learning through food, art, language, music, storytelling, and cultural traditions.

Last year, the library received a Sustainable & Resilient New England Libraries grant to purchase Terracycle™ "Zero Waste Boxes” to be housed at the library, and they have now arrived!

The boxes are located in the hallway between the Community Room and the Friends' Donation Center.

This project gives the public the opportunity to recycle things that are difficult, or impossible, to recycle otherwise. Each receptacle has signage stating what it is collecting along with details about what can be included and what cannot be placed in them.

Take a look at the categories and their descriptions to decide what you can collect at home and bring into the library to place in the appropriate receptacles!
